Maria Vila Juncadella studied Illustration at Escola Massana in Barcelona, Visual Communication at KHIO in Oslo , and Graphic Design at Escola d’Art Josep Serra i Abella in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. In the past, she collaborated with the graphic design and communication studio Postdata in Barcelona, developing projects and campaigns for institutions such as the Barcelona City Council and the CCCB, among others. Since 2021, she has been behind the project aquestamaria, a graphic design, illustration, and communication studio based in Manresa. The studio approaches design as a tool for social improvement, working mainly on projects that promote inclusion, equality, and social transformation.
